I got laid off and now credit card debt is quickly bankrupting me
My everyday living has spiraled pretty much out of control all because of horrible financial problems. For us it began after I lost my job this was something that I totally did not expect to happen and well of course it did. Without needing to say losing a job isn’t good for anyone but I have not yet rebounded and located another job at this point. This right away made me realize just how far gone another financial problem I have is. This issue is credit card debt. My debt bills are pretty steep and without employment I can’t pay them and will no doubt begin to fall into delinquency on the monthly payments.
We have been seeking out a debt solution that will help me out while I am still trying to find a new job. Many financial advisors have been saying that debt settlement is a sensible program that will be for consumers in my sort of predicament. The goal in mind of this plan is for the consumer to save income and quickly get off the credit treadmill. This seems precisely like what I might be doing.
It appears like debt settlement is really the only sensible road for me because a bankruptcy hearing would involve me selling my home and a consumer credit counseling plan is something I won’t be able to afford. I have spoken about this plan with my spouse and she feels that credit card debt settlement would be a good course of action for us too. After we get out of debt then we plan on becoming a lot more responsible with our money and never get stuck in this horrid trap again in our lives.
